Terms of Service

Last updated: September 24, 2026. Be honest, use the freemium quota fairly, and your photos stay yours.

1. The service

outfie (outfie.io) is a clean AI clothes changer / virtual try-on tool. You upload an adult selfie, pick a preset outfit from our wardrobe, and we generate a clothes-change preview. Results are illustrative try-ons — not a fitting guarantee, and not a factual recording of what you wore.

Who we are. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean outfie. Contact: support@outfie.io. We reply to support requests within 3 business days.

AI models & architecture. Outputs are AI-generated. Results may contain artifacts (hands, collars, fabric edges, lighting mismatches). Try-on image generation is powered via OpenRouter by Black Forest Labs Flux.2 (Flex for Preview, Pro for HD), with multi-modal eligibility and safety screening assisted by Alibaba Qwen3-VL and OpenAI Moderation. outfie is an independent application; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by Black Forest Labs, Alibaba, OpenAI, Google, or social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, or Pinterest.

No paid packs in v1. There is no checkout, no credit packs, and no subscription in the current product. Access is freemium only as described below.

2. Accounts and sign-in

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to use outfie for try-on generation. You sign in with Google OAuth. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One person per account — do not share credentials.

3. Freemium quota

• Anonymous: 1 low-resolution Preview (~512–640px long edge), no watermark hostage. After that Preview is consumed, further generation requires Google sign-in.
• Signed-in (Google UID): 1 HD generation per Google user id per UTC day. Quota resets at UTC 00:00.
• Low-res Preview never burns the HD quota. HD burns only on a successful generation.
• Hard safety rejects (minor / NSFW / no-face) and technical failures on our side do not burn freemium quota.
• Same IP hitting HD with more than five accounts in one UTC day may trigger a captcha challenge.
• Quotas are a fair-use freemium design and may change; we will update these terms and the on-page quota UI if limits change.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to the photos you upload and the try-on images you generate. You may download and post your results where you have the right to do so. We ask for explicit consent before showing any of your content publicly, such as in a showcase.

You confirm that you own or have permission to use the photos you upload, that they depict consenting adults (18+), and that they do not infringe anyone's rights.

5. Intellectual property, uploads & DMCA

You retain ownership of photos you upload and try-ons you generate. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to process, store briefly, and deliver those assets solely to provide the service (including safety screening and AI generation).

Preset outfit artwork and brand assets remain our property (or our licensors'). Do not scrape the wardrobe or redistribute outfit assets independently of your personal try-on result.

Copyright complaints (DMCA-style): email support@outfie.io with the URL, a description of the work, and your contact details. We will review and may remove content while we investigate.

6. Acceptable use

You must strictly comply with our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). outfie explicitly prohibits using the service for:

1. Photos of minors or anyone who appears under 18.
2. Pornographic, NSFW, undress, clothes-remover, or sexually explicit requests of any kind.
3. Face Swap, deepfakes, non-consensual face-manipulation, or unauthorized impersonation of real people.
4. Hate speech, harassment, violence, or illegal content.
5. Selling or trafficking other people's photos, or scraping / quota evasion / automated abuse.

AI output can be imperfect. Treat generated images as entertainment / fashion preview, not as documentation. See also our AI Disclosure.

7. Service availability

We work hard to keep generation reliable, but the service is provided "as is". We may pause or limit generation during maintenance or provider outages. Our obligation on a failed generation is limited to not consuming freemium quota for that failed run.

8. Retention, termination and deletion

Uploaded and generated images are purged from active storage within 24–48 hours. Metadata logs may be kept longer for quota, security, and legal reasons. Email support@outfie.io to request account deletion; we remove or anonymize personal data from active systems within 30 days except records we must keep. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or violate these terms.

9. Changes

If we change these terms materially, we will note the update date above and, where it affects quota or your content rights, give you notice before the change takes effect where practical.
